Feldenkrais® classes! Do what YOU want, with more freedom and ease.
Comfort. Strength. AND Movement Freedom! Yes, you can have all three, all at the same time!
In these classes, explore how to open up your body’s freedom, comfort – and strength. Become curious about how you move. Discover new movement that feels good – AND works better – for whatever it is you love to do.
Based in deep biomechanical principles and the intelligence of your own nervous system, you will explore how to work WITH your smart body (instead of against it, eh…). You might be surprised at what becomes possible – and even enjoyable!
Wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in. Bring your curiosity, a mat, and a towel you can scrunch up to use as padding or a pillow when needed .
These are drop-in classes. You are always welcome. I look forward to meeting you there!
Instructor: Violet van Hees, GCFP Dates and times: Wednesday mornings, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., February 4 to May 13, 2026. Where: the l’Heureux Room Cost: By donation. Research continues to encourage aging bodies to add balancing and strengthening practices to movement routines in an effort to build bone density and a stronger awareness of proprioception (where and how we move in space). With the assistance of chairs, the wall, therabands, and a variety of props this class will safely challenge bodies of all ages to become more steady and confident.
(Suggested amount: between $10 to $20 per class.) You decide 🙂 Just put it in the little box when you come to class. Thanks! For more info, visit: www.violetvanhees.com
